0. BEFORE USE
Before First Use Only: Soak swimwear in a mixture of vinegar and water for approx. 30 minutes. (1 tablespoon per 1 quart of water). This will slow down fading and keep bright colors vibrant longer. (taken from: http://www.swimmart.com/swimmart/dept.asp?dept_id=3029)

1. HANDWASH
handwash your swimwear in cool water, if you have a swimwear cleaner use it, if not use a mild soap, your own body shampoo would do just fine, DO NOT dump your bikinis in the washing machine, unless you want them to stretch and wrinkle up after a few washes.

2. SHOWER
notice that every pool area always has a shower near by? make use of it before you enter the water, shower yourself before entering the water, this would let your swimwear absorb less of that salt and clorine chemical that would reduce the elasticity and fade the colour of your swimwear.

3. RINSE
rinse your swimwear immediately after swimming, to remove excess clorine and salt.

4. AIR DRY
air dry your swimwear under shaded area, the sun and UV rays can fade the colour away.

5. CLEAN
wash & dry your swimwear right away after use, do not keep it in wet towels or clothing for long period unless you want to it to smell.

SIZING MATTERS

Okay, so everyone want a perfect fit right? normally affordable swimwear sizes are standard, larger or extra smaller sizes are custom made and usually only found in swimwear specialist stores. below are few types of swimwears and how the fit looks.

BANDEAU BIKINIS
shape like band aids tied across your chest, this types are usually more flattering for those who are less busty, why? these types usually bring more attention to your bust, get bright colours, prints or patterns, do not go for black, unless you want your bust to totally dissapear.
BASIC BIKINIS
the more general type of bikinis, these types are usually flattering to all sizes, usually can be adjust below the bust to fit your bust perfectly, the right padding can also add oomph to your natural bust line.
HALTER BIKINIS
almost similar to your basic bikinis, halter usually comes with thicker straps. this types are usually great for more busty babes, thicker straps gives more support to the bust area, and also creating decent clevage when tied properly. if you are less busty, get those that can be adjust below the bust, not fixed type, so your bust wont look lost in your bikini top.
BIKINI HAUTE
not sure the real term for these kind of bikinis :P, but these kind are similar to your bra types, some are underwired and some are not, these are sometimes known as the push up bikini, usually gives more cleavage to your bust, however for best results, get a proper fit, if too big your bust will be lost in it, too big your bust will be spilling over the top!
MONOKINIS!!!
BANDEAU MONOKINIS
a hot fave of beach babes i noticed, usually fits nicely with small bust and lean bods, i'd say it'll look quite nice for those with curves ;)
BASIC MONOKINIS
this type is slightly more conservative, more for those who'd like to show some skin but not too much ;) great fit for those who are busty and curvy, the side cut outs actually gives more shape to your bod
HILTON MONOKINI
as you can see, this piece actually give a slight clevage and curves at the same time ;) if you have a boyish figure, get a bright coloured on with prints or patterns, this with create the illusion of curves, the cut out at the middle will create clevage bringing attention to your bust too. hilton monokinis generally draws attention away from your tight or hips as your upper bod will be the main focus.
